Government cannot create jobs, but we can create policies that foster a climate of economic growth.

I will work to create policies:

• designed to strengthen small businesses and encourage their growth.
  

  Small businesses are the backbone of our economy; nearly 50% of new jobs are created by small businesses.

• to invest in businesses by providing grants and loans for new technology, equipment and job retraining.

• to make our communities appealing for new businesses by redeveloping abandoned industrial sites and turning them into high tech business parks or other tax ratables.

• that reward companies that purchase products made in Pennsylvania by instituting several tax incentives.

• to level the playing field by closing tax loopholes that allow big corporations to avoid paying taxes by having off shore or out of state headquarters.
  

  These companies drive up taxes for small businesses and property owners while making billions of dollars every year.
