There are now 1,000 more registered Democrats then Republicans in Bensalem
Democrats outnumber Republicans in Bensalem by 1,035 voters, up 659 from this time last year.

DiGirolamo Voted in Favor of Pay Raise First
Gene DiGirolamo has repeatedly told voters that he voted against the notorious legislative pay raise last summer. However, a review of the bill's voting history reveals that DiGirolamo actually voted in favor of bringing the measure to the floor in the middle of the night.

Republicans for Harris Martin
Today, an organization of "Republicans for Harris Martin" announce their support for Harris Martin as the next PA House Representative to the 18th Legislative District. After careful deliberation this group has concurred that leadership change is in order for the 18th district and indeed in keeping with the "Clean Sweep Movement" throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
August 22, 2006:
18th House District Democratic PA CleanSweep candidate Harris Martin today announced his support for Duquesne Law School Professor Bruce Ledewitz's "Platform for Reform of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court".
"These proposals deserve more widespread attention from the press and support from reform advocates and reform candidates for the legislature," says Martin.
July 14, 2006:
18th PA House District -- Bensalem & Lower Southampton in lower Bucks County -- is now majority Democrat for the first time in 25 years
When House candidate Harris Martin was elected Chair of the Bensalem Democratic Organization in late 2001, the Republicans were ahead by 2,347 registrations in Bensalem. As of the end of last week, the Democrats were ahead by 180 registrations in Bensalem.
